TESTIMONIALS

  • “I suggested to my wife that we should try an activity together, and we decided on pickleball. We both agreed that getting a coach would be a good idea. Every person we spoke to recommended Jason’s name first. He helped me hone my skills, building on my prior tennis experience, and within seven months, he transformed me from a beginner to an advanced player. I have learned so much under his guidance and with the support of his team of coaches, I am excited to continue my pickleball journey.”

  • “I started playing pickleball in July 2024 as something new to do with my spouse. This was my very first experience with a racquet sport. I’m a firm believer in professional coaching, so we sought lessons from Jason on Day One. I didn’t know any rules, any pickleball language, and had never gripped a racquet. Jason and fellow coach Dan taught me anything and everything about pickleball to get me started, achieve some basic skills, and then improve to become a moderate-level player in just 6 months. With their ongoing coaching and mentorship, I continue to see improvement in my gameplay. Great lesson plans and drills, but they always take time to ask how the play is going and are happy to help me with any areas where I might be struggling. I’m thankful to have started a new sport with two amazing coaches”

  • Gracias. I want to thank Jason and Don for their guidance. I participated in their clinics and took private lessons, and they always paid close attention to detail. They highlighted key aspects of my game and provided accurate feedback on how to improve. The environment was both fun and instructive, and they were always accessible and professional. I can feel my game better—because in pickleball, there’s always room for improvement!

  • I've been playing pickleball for just over a year now. The level of enjoyment for the sport came instantly and soon I recognized not only was this fun but I could be relatively competitive. This led to me joining clinics and signing up for coaching sessions with Jason & Dan. Learning the basics, watching videos and playing rec play became slow for me and made me want to be more competitive. Now by taking high level coaching lessons, I now get instant feedback on what I am doing right and wrong and my game has significantly improved. Drilling and taking lessons are enjoyable and improving my game is such a great feeling.

  • In March of 2022, I decided to come to the Moose Hall to try pickleball. I was greeted by Darron Smylie who was in charge of the sessions there. He referred me to Jason to take some private lessons to see if I liked it. From the first lesson on, Jason was so supportive, professional and very funny showing me this new sport. To this day, I try to take weekly private lessons or clinics from Jason, as it has launched my game from a new player to intermediate level. I have won numerous bronze, silver and gold medals in every division I have played and I now play pickleball weekly and enjoy it very much.

  • I have had the privilege of training with Jason and Dan and I can confidently say they are top-notch, amazing coaches all around. Their deep understanding of the game, paired with their passion and ability to break down complex skills into easy-to-use practice drills helped me improve tremendously. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, Jason and Dan will tailor each session to fit your needs, making every lesson feel productive and enjoyable. They focus on techniques but also on strategy and the mental part of the game. Their guidance, support, and positive reinforcement have elevated my game to the next level. I highly recommend Jason and Dan to anyone either looking to learn about the game or to help them move to the next level.

  • In September 2022, after much cajoling by two friends to come out and partake in a strange-sounding activity involving pickles and a kitchen, I resigned to giving it a try - figuring that if nothing else, maybe it would conclude with a tasty sandwich. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find after one class with Jason, that this whole pickles and balls and kitchen thing was surprisingly a whole lot of fun. From that day forward, I’ve been a bit of a pickleball addict. I owe this addiction impart to Jason’s incredible skills as a coach, which helped even a girl like me with two left feet, be able to find my place and game in the sport of Pickleball.

  • A couple of friends and I wanted to learn how to play pickleball. Jason and I found a location and I recruited some more friends to sign up to learn how to play. We had a group of 18 ladies register in the four-week beginner course. We learned new skills and had fun. We all had such an amazing time most of us signed up for the novice course. Jason and Dan are fantastic coaches! They possess exceptional knowledge of the game, and the lessons are well-structured. Pickleball is a sport that's suitable for people of all ages and skill levels. It's easy to learn and low impact. I had a double knee replacement almost five years ago and I had no trouble playing. I highly recommend trying this sport.
